Tia Golson
LLMSW-C
Limited Licensed Master Clinical Social Worker
Clinical Therapist
I completed my clinical internship with Living in the PAUSE, PLLC in 2024 and 2025, where I provided trauma-informed care and supported clients through life transitions, anxiety, and family dynamics. Previously, I interned with Genesee Health System (GHS) in the Utilization Management Department (2019–2020), assisting with mental health care coordination across the court system, hospital, and outpatient settings. Before entering the field of social work, I worked in finance—an experience that deepened my understanding of how financial stability, safety, and emotional regulation are closely connected to overall mental health and wellness.
As a clinical social worker, I strive to meet you where you are and walk beside you as you learn, heal, and rediscover your natural flow of growth.

I am a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) at Living in the PAUSE, PLLC. I work with adults, teens, and children navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, and identity-related challenges. I believe healing unfolds in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment—one that allows you to reconnect with yourself and move toward growth and balance.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and strengths-based approaches to help you identify patterns, build self-awareness, and develop healthier coping strategies. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals as they explore boundaries, strengthen emotional regulation, and cultivate self-worth—creating lives that align with their values and goals.
